Funding biomedical research, including university collaborations
Advocating for awareness, access, and patient support

Behind every grant is a person trying to get answers, treatment, and their life back. Many patients come to us after years of symptoms, financial strain, and being told that their illness is not real. Our work exists because treatment can change the course of someone’s life.
The Lyme Treatment Foundation provides medical grants to eligible applicants with Lyme disease and co-infections.

In addition to patient grants, the Lyme Treatment Foundation supports biomedical research with universities around the world, including work connected to the University of Oxford. We believe patients need both immediate access to care and better scientific answers for the future.

The Lyme Treatment Foundation began after founder Wendy Phillips experienced firsthand how difficult it can be to get answers, treatment, and support for Lyme disease. Her full story explains why this mission became personal, and why access to care matters.
